Harbor Metal Treating Co., established in 1972, has steadily grown and expanded by continually investing in leading-edge technology and its highly-skilled team of people. It operates facilities in Benton Harbor, Michigan and South Bend, Indiana to service more than 1,000 customers requiring heat treating and related metal-processing services.
As a leading Midwest commercial heat treater, in 1998 Harbor Metal was an early component of the rapidly expanding Bluewater Processing Group (BPG). Bluewater is currently the second largest commercial heat treater in North America.
Harbor Metal has a Midwestern customer base that includes tool and die manufacturing, fasteners, forging, die casting, stamping, injection molding, iron foundries, automotive, medical equipment and aerospace among its diversified industries served.

Both Harbor Metal locations are QS 9000:1998 and ISO 9001:2000 registered and we conform to government and industry specifications including automotive, fastener, military and aviation.
